Availability and plans for upgrading to RHEL5?

  Red Hat doesn't automatically update you from one version to the next.
    Half the point of RHEL is that it's stable.  RHEL 4 will be around
and supported for at least 2 years. (maybe 5?)  Also last I checked RHEL
doesn't support online updates from version to version.  (What do you
think this is debian???)

  What you'll need to do is get a installation cdrom/dvdrom, reboot, and
upgrade the box.  If you have a RHN login you can generally download it
from their site.  (RH doesn't really care which version you run if you
are giving them money for support.)


PS- Personally unless there is something in RHEL 5 that you can't live
without.  I'd wait 6 months.  Let everyone else suffer through finding,
and fixing all the various bugs.
