Perc5 + Cent OS 5.0

Hello everyone,

I have bought two PE 2900.

There are raid 1 disk for OS and raid 5 disk for data archive.

I have installed Cent OS 5.0 on raid 1 disk without driver. Cent OS show a
kernel panic after first reboot.

Is that driver is a must for installing Cent OS on raid?

Could I use the driver for RHEL to install on CentOS5.
