drac 5 virtual media plugin

I have another question about the virtual media capability.
I had it demonstrated by way of loading the RHEL4 CD1 ISO into the CD virtual 
media drive and then seeing the system boot from this.

Does the CD image get loaded across the network to the DRAC or does the plugin 
provide some kind of random-access I/O from the guest system?
