2950 - PERC5 - 'Disk Removed'

Hi

We run many 2950's with RAID 1 and RAID 5 configs across 6 disks. All of 
these boxes run RHEL4u4.

I have noticed on more than 1 box on more than 1 occasion that OM 
reports the RAID as degraded as 1 of the drives has been 'removed'. 
There appears to be nothing wrong with the drive as a reseat of the 
'removed' drive kicks off the resync process and everything is fine. 
Interestingly the LCD does not show the drive as offline and neither 
does the indicator light on the disk.

Does anyone know about this either seeing it before or know of a solution?
