2950 remote access howto?

With 8th and 9th Gen Dell servers you can NOT use the same IP on the BMC
interface as the computer (I don't know about the other generations as
I've not worked with those directly).  Each interface has it's own
unique Mac address and that will cause IP address conflicts when arp
requests are generated.

The BMC needs it's own IP separate from the server to work.  That is
unlike several other manufactures who use one NIC and Mac address for
the system and BMC.  They are in a continuous sniffing loop for traffic
that should be the BMC's, Issue with that design is that once in a while
the BMC steals and responds to real traffic destined for the computer
and not the BMC interface causing packet errors.

Peculiar.  'Works for Me.'

I do, however, never use an IP on the BMC that I'm using on the machine
itself.
