PE 1955 plus Debian plus AX100

Has anyone successfully gotten a PE server (9th generation preferably)
to work with a AX100 SAN (using fiber channel on a Qlogic card) running
Debian on the OS. I found one link with a how-to and am about to take
the plunge but wanted to see if anyone else out there has made it
"happen". The how-to I found recommended using NaviSphere but not
PowerPath (the software tool that comes with the AX100) but use
multipath instead (plus the qlogic drivers built into the kernel
(2.6.19). Anyway, let me know if you've tackled this and what pitfalls
you've seen.
