Windows - printers - drivers - eugh!
If you can't afford a crummy little ink jet printer - WTF are you
doing splashing 500 bucks on a copy of vista.
If it is so important, get a small, cheap post script compatible laser.
But as you say - painting into the corner. Who in their right minds
upgrades to anything after it just comes out if it is very
important. I personally wait 1 month for with new apps that I host,
then run them internally for another month or so before I deploy them
for clients.
