SCSI problem?

Indeed, OMSA is installed.  I probably added it 18-24 months ago, but "issues" 
arose (I'm sure OMSA has come a long way since then) so, while it's still 
installed, it isn't running.  I confirmed that there are no obvious running 
processes associated with OMSA.  Might the mere fact that it's installed be 
causing the problem?  I don't see how, but I suppose anything's possible.
