  Server :DELL PowerEdge 2950
  TapeDrive :PowerVault 110T LTO3

After booting, try 'mt -f /dev/st0 status' and got this message :
mt: /dev/st0: No such device or address

The LTO3 drive worked on this server several weeks ago and I'm
successfully wrote data on tape.
