I found it there too about an hour after I emailed you......I'm getting
with Novell as it says I dont have permissions to access the links to the
base SuSE 9 os and SP1. Weird, since i have access to SP2 and SP3
Thanks

I found it via these steps:
1) http://support.novell.com/patches.html
2) "Linux Service Packs"
http://support.novell.com/linux/psdb/Service%20Pack.html
3) archive
http://support.novell.com/linux/psdb/Archive_Service%20Pack.html
4) 31 JAN 2005: SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 Service Pack 1
http://support.novell.com/techcenter/psdb/bf60cd5c91a4ca8058d262dec4b0f6ab.html
5) SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 for AMD64 and Intel EM64T (x86_64) (most
recent package)

SLES-9-SP-1-x86-64-RC5-CD2.iso 526.0 MB (551593984)
but then it asked me for my Novell account. I don't know what kind of
account is necessary to download from there. It may be sufficient to
click the "Create an Account" link on the left at that point.
Obvious, huh? :-)
