md3000 performance issues

Hi Folks,

I heard 2nd-hand from the software developers that the 2 TB limit is a
limitation of the md3000 management software for windows reasons, not the
md3000 itself.

Indeed, that's mentionned in the documentation.

That's unlikely:
Enclosure Features

  Up to 2 TB (2036 GB) storage on a single virtual disk
