Hi,

I have installed Debian on two PE2850 machines ( Perc 3Di 2.7.x and
2.8.0).  The kernel I installed is 2.6.21.

When booting the machine shows:

ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:08.0[A] -> GSI 20 (level, low) -> IRQ 19
scsi0 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 7.0
            <Adaptec 3960D Ultra160 SCSI adapter>
            aic7899: Ultra160 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 32/253 SCBs

ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:01:08.1[B] -> GSI 21 (level, low) -> IRQ 20
scsi1 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 7.0
            <Adaptec 3960D Ultra160 SCSI adapter>
            aic7899: Ultra160 Wide Channel B, SCSI Id=7, 32/253 SCBs

...
scsi2 : percraid
scsi 2:0:0:0: Direct-Access     DELL     PERC Mirror      V1.0 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2
AAC:AAC received an unrecognized command [601].
scsi 2:1:0:0: scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery
...
scsi 2:2:13:0: scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery
scsi 2:2:14:0: scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery

And after some times it falls true to:

megaraid cmm: 2.20.2.7 (Release Date: Sun Jul 16 00:01:03 EST 2006)
megaraid: 2.20.5.1 (Release Date: Thu Nov 16 15:32:35 EST 2006)
megasas: 00.00.03.10-rc1 Wed Feb 14 10:14:25 PST 2007
...

You can find a more verbose output on
http://users.ugent.be/~rgevaert/dell/boot

Anybody also seeing this?

On http://users.ugent.be/~rgevaert/dell/xxraid.cfg I've put the output
of some afacli commands.

Thanks in advance,

Rudy
