Update possible for VMWARE ESX3 server?!?

Hi,

Although I'm quite new to the Unix world, I've been
given a farm of PowerEdge 6950 servers running VMWare
ESX 3.

I have made a machine free of all running VMs, but how
on earth can I update drivers on this machine?

Where can I find instructions on how to do this?

Also, is it possible to run Open Manage on a VMWare
host?

Any help would greatly be appreciated, as the versions
for PERC are way below what they  should be!
