container_verify DISABLED?

Hello!

Issuing the command "controller show container_verify" to afacli 
(PERC3/di), I get:

Executing: controller show container_verify
Container verify DISABLED

Shouldn't this be enabled? Anyone knows exactly what this verification 
entails? May I assume that it's different from "container scrub"? I RTFM 
both Dell and Adaptec guides but both are short on explanations...
