2950 Storage ROMB Battery Failure - Resolution Help Required

This means the Raid On Motherboard' Battery is bad and needs to be replaced.
When the battery goes bad, the RAID controller should flush its cache,
and revert to write through mode, instead of write back (if it is was
configured with write back).
Write through is a bit slower than write back, as the data must be
written to disk completely, before the controller ack the request.
We have had two PE2950 with bad ROMB battery.
If the server is still under warranty, call Dell support at
1-800-945-3355 to get replacement.
If you are comfortable you can do it by yourself (Dell will send
part), or if you want you can ask for a tech to install it for you.
It is pretty easy to replace the battery, as it is located right on
top of your hard drives bay.
