PE1950 CPU upgrades

I've got a bunch of PE1950s with 5148 LV xeons and I want to upgrade  
them to L5320 quad-cores (we're CPU-constrained on a multithreaded  
Java app). I can't find this as an option on the Dell parts site. If  
I obtain them elsewhere, are they a straightforward drop-in  
replacement? Are the sockets/heatsinks/PSU etc compatible? Do I need  
to do anything particular with firmware updates beforehand to support  
them?
