Thanks Peter. This is a gotcha I'll have to look out for.

Virtuozzo uses its own Kernel - I forget the version number, so this is
probably why it hasn't happened to me - yet! I'll have to get someone to
plug a cable into the other Ethernet port in advance just to avoid
headaches.
