PE 1950 NIC order switching problem fixed by BIOS 1.3.7?

On Ubuntu you have iftab, which allows you to specify the how the kernel
should name the interfaces based on the mac address.
The file /etc/iftab basically has a list of macs with the interface name
you want to associate:
EXAMPLE
       eth0 mac 00:12:79:59:8D:38
       eth1 mac 00:0B:CD:5C:9E:2A

This way it does not matter what interface the bios detects first.

Kind regards,
Dirk.
