Bluetooth not installed

Not sure if this is the right place for this. It is not a power-edge but
a laptop latitude D820, but it's running Linux (fedora7).
I'm trying to get bluetooth running but I'm not successful.
When I run dellWirelessCtl --st_bt I get:

Radio Status for Bluetooth:
      Bluetooth supported
      Bluetooth not installed
      Bluetooth enabled
      Status code: 2

I'm unclear to what the difference between enabled and installed is. The
linux side of bluetooth is running but can clearly not find the physical
bluetooth device on the laptop.

Does the above mean that HARDWARE wise there's no bluetooth device?
