Debian and Dell

Hello,

I installed a Debian on a ...
I tried tu "alienify" some rpm's found on Dell'site. But I did'nt
obtained anything in my paquets.
Furthermore, I have plenty of paquets for Java but nothing as simple as
some text interface.

I convince I'm a bit confused. Some advices will be appreciated.
