Has anyone noticed dsm_sa_datamgr32d using more memory over time?
Just before a reboot this morning on our PE2800, top showed:
VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
350m 232m 3188 S 0 11.6 6:58.13 dsm_sa_datamgr3
after the reboot it showed:
VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
121m 5224 3180 S 0 0.3 0:00.79 dsm_sa_datamgr3
3 hours later it's climbed to:
VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
123m 7288 3188 S 0 0.4 0:04.74 dsm_sa_datamgr3
Other servers are showing between 0.5% and 6.6% memory use by
dsm_sa_datamgr32d depending on how long since the last reboot
or last restart of the daemon.
This is with the 5.1.0-354 OMSA release on fully up2date RHEL 4.
It's much more pronounced on x86_64 than i686.
Thanks
