Problems with PERC 5 + AMD64 + mpt-status

The RAID card is a PERC 5/i, these are different. There is a SAS 5/i card that does not provide RAID, this is a MPT card, the PERC is not.

Dear Patrick,
Yes, I have used OMSA to check RAID status already, but I want to
test mpt-status utility.
The RAID card is a SAS 5i, so it's a MPT card.. what may be the
problem? perhaps Debian AMD64 problem?
# lspci | grep -i dell
