Yes, that is normal. Do not add hosts to that storage group… 

 

In general do not enable Engineering Mode, you will be allowed to do very bad things. J

When I get into the engineering mode of my EMC CX ... I can see additional storage groups
called "~physical" inside I can see the complete LUN's of my system but without hosts
is this normal
