You should also find a .BIN file on the dell support site. Use this instead of
the .exe archive.
This is what I did on my PE860:
Downloaded FRMW_LX_R168471.BIN
# chmod a+x ./FRMW_LX_R168471.BIN
# ./FRMW_LX_R168471.BIN
