I can vet that CentOS EL5 works without a hitch on 2550 machines with the
native Adaptec RAID, have it running for months now. The native
fibrevault external interface was actually copper I think, fiber was an
add-on. Depends on which. I think the QLA2200 is ok for the fiber, no
idea about copper.
