Thanks again for your response...
I seem to have this working without the I/O errors and as fast as it
should be.
But the one thing stil not working is that I can not start SMagent so I
can manage the storage unit because:
The default logical unit number (LUN) assigned to the access virtual
disk (typically 7 or 31) is not in the range supported by the host or is
already in use by the host for another device.
Any idea how to exlcude LUN31 from the device mapper or the
device-mapper-multipath driver? I think it's the device mapper because
when I unload the dm-multipath module I still get the same error. Before
installing de dm package and the multipath-tools package it worked fine.
