NX1950 (PE1950 with MD3000) and MD Storage Manager with Debian

To answer my own question:

It's actualy quite easy to set this up. Just don't try to convert the
rpm packages using alien, this wouldn't work.

Just use rpm -i --nodeps *.rpm and off you go...
