16 TB Disk Arrays and ext3fs woes

With centos it's easy to try with xfs. Maybe this works as others 
pointed out. Though I have never run such big fs but have very good 
experience with xfs.
Use their centos plus repo and install the centosplus kernel + xfs 
kernel module + xfsprogs.
