You can disable the Patrol Read feature using OMSA 5.2 or from the
controller BIOS if you do not wish to use this feature.

Oh, we have seen that a lot with our 3DC and a PV220S. I highly
recommend replacing the drive.
Make sure you have a good backup at all times, and install all firmware
upgrades if you haven't done so already, although you may see
performance degradation (as we have) due to the patrol read feature the
new firmware might bring.
