Grab a Firefox tarball from Mozilla and install it into your local
user directory; when it attempts to install to the "system default"
plugin dir, it will be in your user dir and writeable by you.
Whenever you go to a new RAC it will prompt you to install the plugin
again; this is a pain, but far more manageable. It keeps a record of
which RACs you've installed from but I can't find where.
