2650 continuous beeping

This is likely the PERC3DC alarm, indicating something is wrong w/ one
of you raid arrays.

Pull the front off your PV220s; you probably have a bad disk (flashing
amber).

Without OMSA, you'll have to reboot, go into Raid Config to disable the
alarm & rebuild the Array.

Subject: 2650 continuous beeping

A PE2650 started beeping this afternoon, and I'd very much
like it to stop. Secondarily (as nothing really appears to be
wrong), I'd like to know the cause. It's a steady beep --
once every 1 or 2 seconds, which doesn't seem to be
described in the manuals unless I've just missed it.

I don't yet have OMSA installed as I just recently upgraded
to RHEL4. This system has a PERC3Di and PERC3DC
with PV220S and PV132T attached.

Suggestions?

Ernie
