Here's what I'm seeing in the /proc/scsi/aic79xx/1 file:

Target 6 Negotiation Settings
        User: 320.000MB/s transfers (160.000MHz RDSTRM|DT|IU|RTI|QAS,
16bit)
        Goal: 3.300MB/s transfers
        Curr: 3.300MB/s transfers
        Channel A Target 6 Lun 0 Settings
                Commands Queued 6136425
                Commands Active 1
                Command Openings 0
                Max Tagged Openings 0
                Device Queue Frozen Count 0
        Channel A Target 6 Lun 1 Settings
                Commands Queued 52
                Commands Active 0
                Command Openings 1
                Max Tagged Openings 0
                Device Queue Frozen Count 0

The drive is currently being used to backup and is performing very
slowly.

Subject: Very slow throughput to PowerVault 124T

	I've got a brand new PE2950 and a PowerVault 124T that I ordered
with it. Everything seems to be working but the throughput to the drive
is comparatively slow. The backup is taking 3-4 times as long on this
server than on the one I'm replacing, though the SCSI bus speed should
be the same on both.

Would someone be able to assist me with troubleshooting this?
