You need atleast RHEL 3 update 6 to have the megaraid_sas driver in the
system. You should be able to upgrade and use the same kickstart files.

Subject: RHEL 3 kickstart - megaraid_sas driver

Please ignore my previous posts about this (I'm still learning, but not
out of the woods yet)

PE-2950 w/ PERC 5i card.
Installing RHEL 3.0 using kickstart provided by application vendor
(McKesson).
Kickstart cfg file contains the following line...

device scsi megaraid2

...and works fine on our older PE2850's w/PERC 4e/Di, but of course
won't work on these new servers. I edited the file, and changed
megaraid2 to megaraid_sas, but the install still complains: ""unable to
find any devices of the type needed for this installation type"

I'm working with McKesson, on it, but have the feeling they haven't run
into this yet. I'm under the gun to get 5 of these ready to roll by
next Wednesday, so I'm reaching for any answers I can get.

Any help would be much-appreciated.
