Hi,

On my PE2900 with megaraid_sas I have the VDISKS set for write-back
caching. Without getting into a philosophical discussion of why thats
bad, how come the kernel pops up with:

SCSI device sdc: 1754529792 512-byte hdwr sectors (898319 MB)
sdc: test WP failed, assume Write Enabled
sdc: asking for cache data failed
sdc: assuming drive cache: write through

Kernel is 2.6.17.11-ish

Thanks alot,
Greg
