Raid Status with Perc 4e/di RAID on linux

Hello,
 
I am looking for a way to control the state of the disks in a RAID5 on a
Poweredge 2800 with a Perc 4e/di.   
I use a Kernel 2.6.17.11 with the megaraid driver. I have looked to the
source code, but I am not a C programmer, and it is too hard for me to
decode all the information.
 
What is the solution?
