rhel4 detects NICs in reverse on a 2950

Well, if 2950 is certified with RHEL4, then why I do not see any doc 
anywhere mentioning the NIC order reverse problem?  Neither Red Hat nor 
Dell engineer found the problem?  To me, this problem is pretty easy to 
duplicate.
