it will probably see your newer kernel and complain, so if it does, use
--force, and if you have dependency problems add --nodeps

Hi Jacob,

I found it, thanks to you !

Now, i suppose i need copy the downloaded RPMs and simply use the "rpm -Uvh

thepackage.rpm" command to install it ?

Florent,

You can get old kernel versions by logging directly into RHN with your user

account.

1. Select "Packages" in the drop down box.

2. Type "kernel" then click the Search button.

3. Your search will return an alphabetical list of package names. Click on

the "K".

4. Browse to the kernel version/architecture you need.

Remember to download the kernel source package that corresponds with your

kernel version / architecture. For example, if you download the kernel-smp

package, you should also download the corresponding

kernel-smp-devel package.

If you don't see the kernel package you need, check your entitlements and

system keys under the Systems tab in the main RHN toolbar at the top of the

page.

Thanks, Jacob
