1950s with SAS 5/I controller and install debian etch

Hi Chris,

Etch works but I need to use YAIRD not INITRD, Can you please explain as I
am very new to debian... are these boot options?

Also note we are not doing any raid on these servers, it has a single hard
drive with a SAS 5/I controller (not perc 5) will it still work?

Etch works!

Make sure you use the YAIRD not INITRD or it will not find the disks.
