OSMA 5 on Fedora Core 4

Hi,
I administer a PowerEdge 4300 which has Fedora Core 4 installed on it. I've been trying to get OSMA installed. Unfortunately, I get this:
[edisroh at genesis RPMS]$ pwd
/home/edisroh/no-backup/omsa5/linux/RPMS
[edisroh at genesis RPMS]$ sudo rpm -ivh srvadmin-deng-5.0.0-463.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
srvadmin-deng: not supported on this system (sysid=007C)
error: %pre(srvadmin-deng-5.0.0-463.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
error: install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping srvadmin-deng-5.0.0-463
[edisroh at genesis RPMS]$
I must say, I find this most disturbing. No software has failed, and yet an error has been raised. The software has been explicitly designed to fail for a particular class of users. A decision was made by a person to reduce the operating ability of their software; to purposely break an otherwise unbroken tool. What reason is there for this insanity?
Yours sincerely,
Robert Ham
