How to install Linux on a PowerEdge 4400

We need to install a free Linux distribution on a Dell
PowerEdge 4400.

We've tried several times with different distributions
(Ubuntu 6.06, Suse 10.1, Fedora Core 5).
In all cases we have the same problem: linux doesn't
see the RAID logical drives.

Our current disk configuration is a RAID-0 array of 2
Seagate Cheetah 36 GB SCSI disks.

We saw on the web that many people have linux working
on a similar configuration of the same server.
Can anyone help us?
