Cannot boot from IDE disk

Hi,

 

I am trying to boot PE1800 from an IDE disk but its not working. The system
has one IDE and one SCSI disk. Grub is installed on IDE disk but Grub just
falls to command line and not able to see IDE disk (can see only SCSI disk).

Can anyone please tell how I can (if possible) boot from an IDE disk (Primary
Slave -- CDR is master).
