Extending swap + / fs ?

resize2fs is an older utility, people are typically more comfortable with it (or don't know about alternatives).

I've not had any issues using ext2online, but as always (with either tool), I'd recommend performing a full backup before resizing the partition.  There's always the chance of losing data.
