2950 with perc5/i - will it work with SuSE 10.x (non enterprise version)

I wonder if anyone has experience in using the (rather new) perc5/i 
controller with a non-enterprise version of SuSE/Novell Linux 10.x?

I run a couple of 2850 with perc4 controllers and SuSE 9 and 10. They 
run just fine.

How about perc5?
