This command works on Redhat and Suse OS:
rpm -qa --queryformat %-{name}-%{version}-%{release}-%{arch}"\n"

rpm -q -a --queryformat='%{N}-%{V}-%{R}.%{arch}\n'

Hi all,

I have to install rmp in order to install oracle on a RHEL4 ES 64 bits

PE2950.

I ru nthe following command :

[root at rh4de-dell ~]# rpm -qa | grep glibc

compat-glibc-headers-2.3.2-95.30

glibc-headers-2.3.4-2.19

glibc-devel-2.3.4-2.19

glibc-common-2.3.4-2.19

glibc-kernheaders-2.4-9.1.98.EL

glibc-2.3.4-2.19

glibc-2.3.4-2.19

glibc-devel-2.3.4-2.19

compat-glibc-2.3.2-95.30

As you can see, i see 2 lines wiht a rpm called "glibc-2.3.4-2.19".

What's the differences between the 2 lines ? I suppose it is because of

platform architecture ? How to know if it is a x86, 64 or i686 rpm ?

Thanks a lot

Florent
