You need to change the name the kernel is using for these devices. You should be able to do this with UDEV.

For example:
 KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="<Mac of eth0>", NAME="eth0"
 KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="<Mac of eth1>", NAME="eth1"
 KERNEL=="eth*", SYSFS{address}=="<Mac of eth2>", NAME="eth2"

That should rename them to what you want. (You should also be able to take the MAC's out of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth*)

Please see line with the ########## in front of it.

Any idea of how to solve this ?
I think it has appear when i manually edited the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX files to change Mac Address of each file in order to do the following thing :

Onboard A = eth0
Onboard B = eth1
PCI addon card = eth2

Thanks

Florent
