cloning a gentoo system from PE2850 on PE2950?

Hello all,

I have a PE 2850 with a optimized gentoo system on it. Here is the 
relevant part of make.conf:

CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=nocona -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -mmmx -msse -msse2 -mfpmath=sse"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"

Is it possible to clone the system to a PE 2950 with as little changes as 
possible? I know that I have to recompile the kernel beause of the 
changed SCSI Controller (megaraid_sas) and maybe a different driver for 
the nic. I am more concerned about the optimized binaries. Will they be 
running without problems on the new CPU? I don't even know the codename 
for it.
