There is no .BIN available for these older firmware versions.
If you have problems bootin from floppy you could create a floppy image
and boot this using MEMDISK from the SYSLINUX package.
Copy floppy.img and MEMDISK to /boot/ and add the following to grub.conf
title Boot Floppy Image
kernel /MEMDISK
initrd /floppy.img
You need to do the following to find the "Other Versions" link.
1. Go to http://support.dell.com
2. Click on Drivers and Downloads.
3. Choose - Product Type = ProwerEdge
4. Choose - Model = 6450
(You could replace step 3 and 4 by a single step, typing in your
service tag.)
5. Choose - Operating system = RHEL 3 (This is does not matter when you
look for BIOS and FW...)
6. Click on "Find Downloads"
7. Click on "SCSI RAID Controllers"
8. Click on "LSI Logic PERC3/DC"
9. Click on "Firmware - LSI Logic PERC3/DCL, PERC3/DC, PERC3/QC,
PERC3/SC, v.199A, A40"
10. Click on "Floppy - BR126654.exe"
11. To the left on the page you will have "Other Versions". Below
"Dowload Now"
- Click "Other Versions"
Now, you should be presented with a list of all available versions of
PERC 3/DC firmware.
