Hi,
I currently am evaluating a couple 2950s for our use. We have used 5th,
6th, 8th generation Dell Servers and have been able to rely on the DRAC
for remote consolse via port forwarding. However with the new 9th gen
2950 with the DRAC 5 (v1.0 firmware) I cannot connect to the console via
portforwarding.
I forward the following ports:
443 - Web Interface via HTTPS
5900 - Keyboard/Mouse VNC port
5901 - Video VNC port
I connect to the HTTPS drac interface via https://localhost, login,
click on the Console Tab.
When I click "Connect" on the Console menu a popup shows with a little
red X in the top left corner.
I am not sure what else to try, I am using Internet Explorer 6.0, and I
have SUN JVM installed.
I have looked through
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/software/smdrac3/drac5/1.00/en/UG/
html/index.htm to no avail.
Thanks,
Josh Brown
