querying warranty information

If you enter all of the service tags into the Dell support page it can
track them as a group and then you download the whole list in several
different formats (cvs, excel, etc).

There's no way developed by Dell to do this.

I ended up writing a python script to talk to the web form and then
parse out the information. If you'd like the script it can be found
here:

http://linux.duke.edu/~skvidal/misc/dell-warranty-query/

You need to download both files and you'll need to have python-mechanize
installed for the script to work.

then just run:
grab-expire.py [servicetag]
