SLES10 and PERC5(PowerEdge1950)

Novell SUSE Linux Support and Certifications

SLES 10
PE 1950 D 

So SLES 10 should work just fine with PE 1950 and PERC 5.

Also there is remastered version of SuSE Linux 10.1 available here:
http://ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/iso/

The remastered version has been reported to work on 1950 in this previous post:

(Note that this was not a system with a PERC 5.)
